this is the recipe I use all the time for chicken strips
4-6 boneless/skinless chicken breasts cut into 1/2 inch slices
1 cup ranch dressing
2 cups flour
2 cups crushed corn flakes
salt and pepper to taste
optional seasoning: garlic powder, onion powder to taste
place the cut up chicken in a covered container and add the ranch dressing, let marinate for about an hour. combine the remaining ingredients in a large zip lock bag. drop in chicken about 7 pcs. at a time toss to coat.
in a deep fry pan preheat oil to 350 degrees ( or if you drop some flour into the oil it sizzles) once hot add the chicken strips and fry until golden brown or until they float, you want to only add about -8 strips at a time, repeat the process until all are cooked. drain on paper towels. I like to have my oven on at about 200 degrees and I put the cooked chicken in their until all is done.

"Chicken Satay" - 8 servings

2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup milk
6 garlic cloves; minced
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. EACH ground coriander, ground turmeric and ground cumin
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. white pepper
1/8 tsp. coconut extract
PEANUT BUTTER SAUCE:
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup milk
2 green onions; chopped
1 small jalapeno pepper; seeded and finely chopped
2-3 tbsp. lime juice
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 garlic clove; minced
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. minced fresh cilantro (parsley)
1 tsp. minced fresh gingeroot
1/8 tsp. coconut extract

Flatten chicken to 1/4" thickness; cut lengthwise into 1"-wide strips. In large resealable plastic bag, combine milk, garlic, brown sugar, seasonings and extract. Add chicken; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
In a bowl, whisk the sauce ingredients until blended; cover and refrigerate until serving time. Drain and discard marinade. Thread two chicken strips each onto metal or soaked (in water) wooden skewers.
Grill, uncovered, over medium-hot heat 2-3 minutes on each side or until chicken juices run clear. Serve with peanut butter sauce.

When I make chicken I do it all from scratch including my bread crumbs. One plate of egg whisked with a bit of milk and another plate with bread crumbs with some parmesan (dried or fresh) mixed in and one more plate with seasoned flour, I usually season the flour with a bit of pepper some paprika and oregano and basil and parsley flakes. Then with the chicken you coat it with some of the flour mixture then dip it into the egg mixture lettign some of the egg run off then dip it into the bread crumbs and bake until cooked! It really is imprecise and hard to make wrong, just measure by eye.

That's silly.

Firstly, what clothes are you going to get that poor chicken to put on?

Secondly, what music will the chicken strip to?
