No, it's not exactly socially acceptable... I'm sure a lot of people would question your motives.
On the other hand, if you're actually serious about her and you're in a real relationship (ie. her parents know and you've made yourselves public), I don't think age matters all that much. careful though... that's a huge age gap and your maturity, ambitions, and desires are going to be completely different.

It really depends on the situation. If they are both happy in the relationship and have a similar maturity level then I think that is ok. But if either of them are taking advantage or the others age to get what they want then yes it is wrong.
