My ex-boyfriend texts me and then wants to get back together, but he's a player. He keeps saying "you know I love you" blahdeeblah but we only went out for a month and a half and he hasn't hung out with me since July. Why does he keep saying it, why is he lying?

But then if I tell him no you don't, cuz I'm pretty sure he's lying, he's like "fine, whatever."
If he really loved me, he wouldn't take no for an answer would he?

Because he's not creative enough to find ways to actually convince you that he's a great catch with his actions. He may be trying to appeal to your sense of pity, and I'm sure this approach has worked for him in the past.

Good for you for not falling for it. You might want to even go so far as to tell him to stop texting you or else you will block his number. Don't let him disrespect you by not heeding your wishes.

He wants to get in your pants. Don't even give him the time of day! Screw him, especially if you were together for a month and a half! He's probably just desperate and lonely. Forget him.
