Mandarin Chinese.

You already command some of the most spoken languages around the world (English, Spanish) - congratulations on you! Imagine if you learned the most spoken one! You would be able to communicate with almost everyone else in the world.

My native language is Portuguese and I'm taking Spanish right now (the two languages are very much similar). As you see, I also speak English (ok, I'll probably have committed a lot of mistakes by the end of this answer, but I'm trying to do my best...) and I'm taking German next semester. By the year 2008, I have plans to start learning Mandarin. Right now, I'm listening to songs in this language - a way to practice my ears.

Try learning Esperanto (I speak English, Esperanto, Spanish, and German) Esperanto was far easier to learn than any of the others, and it opened the world to me. I've had conversations with people from every continent, and every country, and I only had to learn the easiest language on earth to do so.

You might ask, why is Esperanto easier to learn than any of the other languages? It's because it is a language designed to be simple to learn. Most of the time spent studying a foreign language is spent learning the irregularities and rule exceptions ("I before E except after C", " 'sheep' is both singular and plural", etc). Esperanto has only 16 grammatical rules, and no exceptions to any of the rules.

And before you ask, yes you can travel with Esperanto. Read this article in Wikipedia about the Esperanto "Pasporta Servo" (Pasport Service)

that's awesome you know all those languages! You should try for Arabic! That'de be really cool. You could also go for an eastern european language like Czech (my gf speaks it, it's not too bad to learn) or Russian! My other friend speaks Korean, which looks super cool written and would be fun! Good luck with whatever you choose! (I can speak Spanish, some French and Italian, which will come easy if you know Spanish, so maybe even those. Italian is cool, French is kinda whiny, whatever haha)

French or Italian after learning Spainish those two languages should fall into place fairly easily because they are all Latin based.
