I liked the answer that they can replace raisons as I dislike them a lot. I use them for trailmix, cookies, and if you rehydrate them in water for an hour they are great mixed into stuffing and in any type of apple pie or as a stuffing for pork chops (hollow out the chop and bake (don't pan cook). Also they are delicious covered in chocolate.

Find your favorite angel food cake or pound cake recipe, or even a muffin recipe. Toss the cherries with a tablespoon of flour, and fold it in the batter.

You can do the same with dried cranberries. It's really good.

you can use dried cherries in place of raisins in any recipe you have they work really well, also chop into oatmeal cookies when mixing cookie dough, or into oatmeal as a hot cereal yummy
