P.S. to me means post script, which is adding to a supposedly finished letter or note. It is what people put at the bottom of a note or letter to add onto what they have already said.

The only P.S. I know means post script - or "after the writing".... when you add something at the end of your main body of writing (such as a letter) as an afterthought.
