Very good questions. Unfortunately, there is not clear cut answer. It depends on the heart of the person. So, on your first question, does rape constitute abortion...no it doesn't. However, only He knows the situation of the girl, there may be good reasons for it...we cannot judge.
The second question, if a person smokes etc...is it suicide. No it isn't, and yes it can be. If they know better, keep doing it and just don't care, then yes it may be considered suicide, however, if they don't know any better...(think of all those kids in Asia and no one teaches them any better...that can go for a lot of other countries as well) they have no knowledge that what they are doing is harmful to themselves.
Spare the rod, spoil the child, is not gospel. It does not mean we should physically punish our children, but it does mean we need to discipline them.
Death penalty is a tough one. Eye for an eye is the law of Moses. Christ taught a higher law on the sermon on the mount. However, there is something wrong with the idea of a killer sitting in prison living off the tax money of others...I do believe in the death penalty in certain cases, but it really is hard to judge. Good thing in the end, we won't have to...God will know our hearts and judge us accordingly.

ok let me see if i can help, God would not want the victim to murder the unborn child, could give it up for adoption I do have some verses for you to read, Luke2:21 and Luke1:41 and Acts17:25 Jeremiah1:5 God has plans for all of us and that child may one day do something great regardless of how it came to be. On smoking and such Romans12:1-2 and 1Corinthians10:31 and 1Corinthians3:16-17 and Phil.1:20 Children can be spanked with love and to show them that with a bad behavior comes a bad reaction. We must let the kids know and spanking a child is better sometimes they do remember that.Read Proverbs19:18 and 13:24. Yes God does believe in the death penalty as long as it is not personal. It has to be done by society and the courts, read Romans chpt 13. Hope this has helped you in some way God Loves You Pray

Yes, the woman should have the child. One crime doesn't justify another. Abortion is murder. If anyone should die, it's the rapist, since God gives the death penalty for rape.
If the person were smoking with the intent of killing themselves, then yes, otherwise, no. However, smoking is a sin, as our bodies are meant to be temples of God. When you decide to follow Christ, He comes and lives inside you, so when you smoke, you're destroying God's temple.
I don't know if that's advocating physical punishments like spanking or anything. Discipline actually shouldn't be punishment. It's separate. Discipline is training. Parents need to ingrain God's laws and morals in their children by modeling good behavior, and taking their children aside and actually showing them what to do. After ingraining good behavior in them for years, soon they'll do it naturally. "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
The death penalty is just. There are crimes that deserve death, frankly, they don't give it enough. God gives the death penalty for rape and murder, so both of these crimes should get the same, but they don't. We allow these ppl to live. One of the reasons God gave the death penalty was bc He knew that these crimes, as well as things like kidnapping or sexual abuse, don't just affect the victim, they affect the perpetrator. The crimes twist and corrupt them in a very real way.
God knew this, so He gave the death penalty for two reasons: the crime itself deserves it, and to cut that evil off and keep it from spreading. Now that ppl are believing that the death penalty is cruel, they allow more of these ppl to live, and our prisons keep getting worse. Obviously, things are going very well in the area of justice in our country.
If parents disciplined their children (by training them to obey God) these crimes wouldn't happen at all, and the death penalty would be unnecessary.

If a girl or woman is raped, don't you think it would be the ultimate act of love, courage, and self-sacrifice for her to bear the child? Such selflessness is pleasing to God. However, if she cannot bring herself to such a high pinnacle of righteousness, I am sure God is able to forgive her.
God is not pleased when a person harms him/herself on purpose. However, suicide is when you intentionally take your own life...I doubt most smokers have a serious death wish. Stupidity may not be an "excuse"...but it is THE universal sin...and yes, God will forgive stupid people. (for which I am extremely grateful)
Yes, children sometimes need to be physically punished/disciplined.
Yes, the death penalty is right in God's eyes. However, you, like most people, misunderstand the "eye for an eye" quote...it means you may exact ONLY what was taken from you...and nothing more!!

1. All life is sacred, but we have free will to determine that, so no.
2. No. Everything you do can result in death, just living brings death.
3. Maybe, but its over used. A quick swat is diffrent from beating a child with a belt.
5. The bible says to follow the laws of the land. In Gods eyes, it may be murder.

No, God does not expect a raped woman to bear the rapist's child.
If someone drinks or smokes or does drugs, with the deliberate conscious thought or intention of killing himself that way - then that is a slow suicide. but if it simply happens over years of toxic effects in their body - and they did not deliberately intend to kill themselve - then it is not considered a true Suicide.
God has given limited authority to human governments to execute justice according to human customs and laws. but there are limits to these laws and the authority of courts and govenments is always subject to God Himself and under God's scrutiny & judgement.
spare the rod - simply means that lack of physical discipline when needed will result in a rebellious, troublesome child. It does not insist that the child be physically struck - but it warns of the consequences of a lack of punishments. in the character of the child and his behavior - as a result. Physical punishment is at the discretion of the parents and parents will have toanswer to God for what they do.or don't do.

Yes, some GREAT men in history were products of rape and without them our society would be much poorer.
It is considered disregarding your body as God's holy dwelling. I personally think of it as long-term suicide.
Preventative Discipline is more desirable, however if it is found to be not effective enough then yes, as long as one does not do it out of anger; as long as one explains why the physical punishment is given and as long as one knows what the limitation of the physical punishment should be and does not overdo it. Discipline an correction is needed ub irder to raise a child who is not rebellious. Ultimately the parents will have to account to God for their actions in raising and disciplining thei childrn.
The Death Penalty is NOT murder because it is not decided by one individual person; it is tried by a jury of people and ordered by one who has been appointed as a Judge (by the people if in U.S.) or (by the government if in Canada) who Biblical Christians believe have been given their authority by God.
