Sounds like all these suggestions will help but let me just add when you are in bed and your brain will not stop.....then force your mind to stay on one subject only. When your mind wonders, come back to the original thought. By forcing yourself to focus on only one thought your mind will soon tire and you can go to sleep.
Good Luck and Sweet Dreams

Here are some things I tried when I was experiencing insomnia. Take a long warm shower or bubble bath. Then I would sit in quiet area..No TV...No music..Just quiet. I would let my mind clear and do some meditation. You don't need a book on meditation ( although it may be helpful) Think about relaxing activities. I would think about the beach because I love the beach and think it is a very relaxing place to be. I would practice this for a hour hour to a full hour. I found I was so relaxed that I would feel sleepy. I hope this helps!

Take a hot shower, drink a cup of warm milk, stop thinking about tommorrow, write down anything you need to do or take care of so that your brain is "empty" and no worries are lingering around.
Go to bed, read something you would like to until eyes get heavy.
Sweet dreams.

Try Sleeping pills. If you want something more natural, then try reading every night before you go to bed. Or simply just waking up earlier!
