Yes I do believe that mum knows best. The are usually right with most things and when you don't listen to them this is normally when things go pear-shaped. Hence why I always go to my mum for advice

ME..i was someone who never valued my family when we were staying with eachother,i everytime fought with my mum ,scream at her,got irratted for no reason and she always used to tell me you will knwo what mum is when u live with someone elz...and trust me whatever she had said became true ...i am suffering badly in my life right now i miss my family and i am going through hard times that no youngster wuld deserve anyways thats life

My mum, bless her heart, likes to think she knows best but she's had it rough so is going a bit doo lally. If she gives me advice I humour her, I like to keep her happy. In my case it's dad that knows best, he brought me up from the age of 8 so it's him I turn to when I need help.

I also believe that she knows best, She has a love for that child like no one can believe or explain, until that child has a child and then you know!!! this is where the words, unconditional love, came from. Don't get me wrong, A dad can love his children 100%, but it's not like a mother. Something about this child growing and breathing and living inside you,It truly is a miracle!!!

My mama has always known best. In the cases when I didn't listen to her, it was obvious that if I HAD listened to her, things would have turned out for the better. (Of course, she loves me enough not to say 'I told you so!') And her advice has always been the best thing, in every situation. I don't know how they do it.. but they do!

hi, i think we should listen to our mums they have been around a lot longer than us and have more experience in life, you don't have to do what they suggest but you could take on board their ideas and suggestions and think if it is right for you, after all they did something right having us....
