When I ran into that problem, I bought a bunch of funky jars and went to the Bulk Barn for flour, chocolate chips, sugar and any other ingredients to make cookie or squares! You put all the dry ingredients in layers in the jar, and attach the recipe! All the person has to add (usually) is eggs, milk and/or water! I know there is a book you can get through Avon that has recipe cards, ribbons and instructions....also try http://www.organize-house.com/gifts-in-a-jar.html

I hope this helps!!! (o=

Well ... the best way to approach this is to combine your talents with something thoughtful or appreciated. The first thing to do is determine your per person budget and the amount of time you have available to do this little project. If you've got a large budget (which it doesn't sound like it since you made mention of the fact that you've got a large group to deliver to) then you can do more than with a smaller budget. And the same goes with time ... if you can sew or knit fast you could make something for them ... mittens or a scarf or whatever.

If you've got a special talent, employ that ... such as .. if you're an excellent artist, draw and frame a small pencil sketch or charcoal drawing.

If you don't have a lot of time, money, or talent that can be utilized in the amount of time available consider making everyone some baked goods or possibly a recipe like Cookies in a Jar or Brownies in a jar. This is a really simple gift that can be made easily and relatively inexpensively for a large number of people. Look on the Internet for recipes for making these kits, but basically it involves getting Mason Jars and lids and adding all of the dry ingredients in the jar in layers and closing the jar. Decorate the jar with ribbons or fabric and attach the recipe to make the cookies or brownies along with a list of other "perishable" ingredients they will need (i.e. butter, milk, eggs, etc) that you don't include in the jar.

Good Luck.

try wreaths...not necessarily themed for christmas or winter, but try for say spring or summer or fall, that way they can think of you AFTER christmas when they go to take down their winter/christmas decorations and get the house in the spirit of the current season. you could also do a flower pot with whatever silk flowers would represent an alternate season from winter. witches' brooms are also good gifts, you could embellish them with seasonal fruits/flowers/foliage and give them as gifts of protection for the recipients' homes. the other thing you could do is put together a scrap book containing photos and little snippets of appropriate tag lines, and this would show each recipient just how focused you were on each and every one of them while creating your gift. hope these suggestions helped! blessed be!

okay the easiest things is baked goods in a really cute package. Then there are throw pillows which can be made without or with sewing. How about some homemade bath salts, just buy cheap soaking salt about $1.50 a bag. Place in large baggy add oils or scents or perfumes. Shake, put in cute packaging, and you're done. Herbed oils are wonderful to cook with. Buy large quantity of olive oil, buy fresh herbs such as oregeno, basil , garlic. Heat oil, place in sterilized bottles, add herbs, cork and tie ribbon or other treatment and you're done. Make homemade poupourri from rose petals and flowers from your garden, again package nicely. Buy cheap but scented candles and tie bows or raffia and package nice. Hope this gives you some ideas......Great packaging is the key.....I've done all of these, and people thought they were great..

monogram towels with a little embroidery or make place mats and napkins with a theme for each family and you can carry over the theme with the right fabric print. (for example , if you know someone is going on a tropical vacation this year use material with a tropical theme and have little grass skirt napkin holders)

Perhaps there is a craft store near you that carries supplies....I was just going to suggest you make everyone an ornament!
Perhaps one that is an ornament styrofoam shape of a girl or a balerina for your niece or daughter.you could decorate it in the colors they like..(anyone in craft store could help you with ideas)
Or another could be one in football shape for nephew or son......maybe in metal, or tin...they have reasonable bags of fake jewels to use...Or.....with all the children you could
just invite certain ones of your choice to come to your home for a day to make one(they can help you make one for another person and see their creation) You pay for it all and have snacks..
Or sometimes a library has a night for crafts ..call and ask them if they offer it...good luck.

Have you seen those fleece blanket kits? Everyone could use a blanket and they are really cute. If you don't find a kit that you like you can pick fleece that you like and make your own. They are really simple and everyone that I know just loves them.

God bless,
Stanbo

How about picture frames? Get some blank wooden ones and decorate them. Hmm, I might do that this year ... since I'm broke already.
