Use Revolution spot- on application. This is available at your vet clinic. Vets are encouraged to give the first treatment for free, so call around and see who is giving it in your area.
Yes, it is dangerous..the puppies will get them, and if the mom is left untreated, she will go deaf, and have many ear infections which can lead to death.

A canines is purely as risky because the human that owns it. now and again by planned preparation, yet in many cases because many people that get canines do not recognize what a canines is. i imagine that people could ought to sit down down (and pay for) a crucial try, and signal an mission to attend people preparation instructions formerly they're allowed to personal a canines. which could purely weed out the idiots. Then shall we see far a lot less risky canines. yet as to Labs. In all my years with canines, the purely time i replaced into attacked replaced into by a Lab. i replaced into walking alongside a highway previous some residences, i did not have a canines with me, and a Lab rushed down the force from one residing house barking. i replaced into not alarmed or confirmed any worry, purely stopped and stood frivolously, as many times a canines will give up even as it sees there's no probability. This lab saved coming and sunk its teeth in my leg. No-one got here from the residing house to make sure why the canines replaced into barking. I pronounced what befell to the police. The canines had a heritage of aggression and it replaced into placed to sleep. I nonetheless have the scars.

she must be very uncomfortable. there are OTC eat mite meds. if she is very stressed it could cause her to produce less milk for the pups and she could give them (mites) to the pups. They are not visible to the naked eye so it could be that the ears are just extremely dirty. you could start by putting some olive oil into the ears by dropper. massage the ear canal(bottom of ear) and the dog will shake her head to send black chunks flying out. wipe out the ear canal with paper towels...no Q-tips! they will just pack the dirt tighter into the ear. The ears must be treated and it would be best to do it before the dog starts the constant head shaking that can produce hematomas. good luck

An old home remedy. Try Wesson corn oil. Just a couple of drops in the ear. It really works.

I'M NOT FOR SURE THAT THIS COULD HURT THE FACT THAT SHE'S NURSING BUT I'M A RABBIT BREEDER AND ONE TIME ONE OF OUR RABBITS HAD EAR MITEST SO BAD(NOT TO THE POINT THAT THEY WERE BLEEDING) THEY HAD GOT TO HER BRAIN THOUGH AND SHE WENT CRAZY SCRATCHING AT THEM AND BITING HER SELF SHE JUMPED OFF THE WALLS OF HER CAGE AND IT WAS VERY DEPRESSING, IN THE END WE HAD TO PUT HER TO SLEEP. I WOULD ACT NOW AND HOPE THAT IT ISN'T TO LATE. HOPE EVERYTHING TURNS OUT OK.
