The girl that hit us is at fault. She hired a lawyer, avoid all our calls, we're waiting for the police report. I believe that the officer would put her at fault. Should I still hire a lawyer? I've been having back pain and I'm really afraid to drive on the freeway now.
What should I do if I don't have good health insurance?

I've seen a doctor, he said nothing's serious, and if I don't get better in 1 week, which is tomorrow, he said I can see a physical theropist. I heard people get more compensation when they go see a PT, I'm not sure if I should do that. I never wanted to until that woman decided to get a lawyer all the sudden and tried to avoid her fault.
She didn't speak any english, she doesn't even know there is this police report, so she probably thinks she'll win. So, I don't know, I'm kinda mad at her... I hope her insurance rate goes really high. She's a very very bad driver.

You should definitely hire a lawyer. If she hired a good lawyer, they could persuade the court that it was your fault... Also, a lawyer would be able to argue against her better than anyone, and maybe you'd recieve payment for treating your back pain.
Also, don't be afraid of driving. It wasn't your fault, and if you're a safe driver the chance of you getting into another car crash is really slim.
Good luck, I hope the police will put her at fault rather than you. =)

1) Go get checked out for the back pain. The cost should be covered by your car insurance. Even if its not, the cost now will be a lot less than if you wait and there is something seriously wrong with you.
2) Contact your insurance company. The sooner, the better. They will handle any claim against you.
3) Most insurance companies have experts called traffic crash reconstructionists who will be able to determine fault.
4) a private attorney can be expensive. Find one that will work for a percentage of the settlement.
5) go to www.igothit.com for more information.

Your auto insurance pays for the Doctor. Go see the Doctor so you have proper documentation of your injury. The longer you wait the harder it will be to proove anything! dont worry too much just Doccument everything including the fact of being worried about the Dr Bill.
Go to the police station and get a copy of the report.
Call your insurance company. Since you have a police report you should be covered
Call an attorney

YOu should make a claim against her insurance company. And you should have notified your insurance company. Ask them for advice.
Unfortunately, most often these days, the police don't make that call unless he sees the incident happen and would otherwise issue a ticket. So don't count on the police for help, other than the report.

GET AN ATTORNEY!!!!!!!! (I'm not a lawyer) Anyone who has an accident that's more than a minor fender-bender should call one immediately after the accident, just in case...... If this lady speaks little English, you may have troubles..... Good luck!

Go to your agent for your insurance company and tell him what happened. The insurace company has lawyers that will fight for you especially if it wasn't your fault. I've been through this route so contact your agent ASAP.

Don't you have collision insurance on your car? If so, file a claim and let them do all the dirty work.
