My husband is 7 1/2 years younger than I and we have been married for 21 years but I did not start dating him until he was 19 3/4.
Go to Books Christian and use their Search button. Change All Products to Books in the left box and then put in the word Dating in the right box and then click on Search. You will come up with 357 results. These may be a lot to sift through but I really like God's Design for Christian Dating by Greg Laurie and Boundaries in Dating: Making Dating Work by Henry Cloud
Getting It Right: Dating, His Way from the first "Hello" by Tim Baker

This may answer your question:
I teach at a junior-senior high school with grades 7-12 in the same building. Many years ago one of my 9th grade students (girl) fell for a 7th grade student (boy). They had a lot in common and were in several clubs together. They dated all through school. The girl graduated two years before the boy, but they still were devoted to each other. The never had relations the entire time they dated. The boy finally graduated and they were married last summer. They are absolutely meant to be together.
I know this because the school is small and I am good friends with the students involved as well as their parents.

Yes, it is normal. Some people may not accept the situation because you are young and they may think its weird...mostly your peers. But why should there be any difference since 40yr. old women date or marry 35 year old men...or old men with a lot younger wives? Society isn't what should make you decide what to do or how to do it. If it doesn't violate God's law, don't fret over it and follow your heart. Good luck.

I wouldnt say it happens alot because most of the time you see girls going with boys older than them because they or more mature but if you really like the boy it shouldnt matter what ppl think because for one they aint u nor the boy I know wouldnt go with any 6th graders at my school cuz they are childish but he fulfills you thats good enough

aw girl! I'm going through the same thing except I'm 19, but two years older than my guy. First of all, don't listen to what others have to say about it. You are such a strong and smart girl to wait until you are married, I'm a Christian as well and I am saving myself until marriage as well. Keep your faith and strength and may God bless you...and if you like him...go ahead and like him! :)
