Hooray for our sweet Muslim friends!
: )
We *all* get bashed,
Our faiths get trashed;
Show some respect --
For *every* sect!
To strive for peace
The hate must cease.
Let's vow today
To find a way.
.

I really wish I could say something good to cheer you up, Azra.
I know there are some good Muslims who don't support the Fundamentalist out there.
I can understand how you feel about being lumped with the bad guys there.
It must suck, big time.
As a person, I'm there for you.
Unfortunately, I can't sincerely say that for Islam.
I know you're hurting right now, so I won't tell you why I have to say this.
Let's hope that those stupid Imams who are creating all this bad blood will be stopped soon and that good people like you can prevail over them.
I can only say that as a human being, all those of you as are good are not the ones we hate and despise.
Unfortunately, the stigma of being a Muslim is now a bad one.
Peace and Blessings be upon you.

Muslims are deeply rooted people, they respect family and their wives,
a beautiful religion, misused by some but then again that applies to all.
they are welcoming people that are always trying to help out a stranger at the strangest of circumstances (and i speak from experience as a female tourist in Saudi Arabia that had forgotten my glasses in the plane :)))
smile and know that most people around the world are not islamophobic it is the few loud exceptions that always manage to get through

I am quite ignorant to the Muslim beliefs, but a woman I work with is Muslim and we had long conversations on what the core of the religion is. I can say I found this religion very inspiring. Peace oriented with tolerance at the core. Judging Muslim's by the "lunatic fringe" is the same as judging Christian's by David Koresh.

I can honestly say that there are some few individual Muslims who have earned my praise, for their tolerance, for their kindness, and for their courage in a time of great persecution.
I cannot find anything to praise in your religion, or in your "prophet" Muhammed, however.
Peace...

(although these are kind of secular things, these are the things I know. LOL I my husband knows more than I do, so I trust his judgement, which has all been positive.)
Mother Theresa said: If you are a Christian, be as good a Christian as you can be. If you are Muslim, be as good a Muslim as you can be.

there are positives about religions that offer a solid base in which to find values and a discipline of behavior. This is a positive comment for all religions that offer that type of thing. :)

Come on Azra, why should they???. They are jealous. We need praise from Allah(SWT).
" Do unto others as you would wish to be done by others... ", if Christians can ever understand this phrase.
There are few fellows in Yahoo Answers whose aim is to add fire to fuel. They actually don't know that the fire here is themselves & the fuel is their own religion itself. They are getting bad name for their own religion. Is this what their religion is preaching them???

What I admire about Muslim is the love for your religion even though I think that you are in the wrong path, I still love you all from my heart.
