I assume you know that no reputable breeder produces blue Weimaraners. The BLUE coat is a disqualifying fault and cannot be produced unless at least one parent has it. (It is NOT a recessive coat color that turns up by accident.) That means you are probably buying the puppy from a puppy mill. If you are "sold" on the incorrect color, you can ADOPT adult dogs with blue coats from rescue programs (esp in TX, NC etc.) rather than rewarding a BYB for producing it.
