Your skin will feel soft, and the tattoo will look much more colorful. Keep putting the ointment on until all the scabbing has come off and the peeling has stopped. You will be fine. If you start bleeding or swelling after the 3rd day you may have an infection.

Best thing is not to have a tattoo in the first place. In my experience people who have tattoos are attention seekers who cannot use their natural talents to get noticed. Problem is that once you have one it's permanent and if you regret it later that's just tough luck. If the tattoo's bothering you go and see a doctor, you may have an infection. In my experience many tattoo parlours aren't as hygienic as they should be. Hopefully it should heal but let it be a lesson for the future. Surely if the place it was done was reputable they should have warned you of the harmful side effects and dangers of infection. Hope he used a clean needle!

lubriderm, unscented is the best to keep area moisturized, soothed, some light scabbing is normal. Don't pick at it and keep the area clean. Check with the people that did your tattoo. You may need a physician, maybe not.

yeah, that's normal. as long as there isn't bleeding you'll be fine (meaning that the tattoo won't get uncolored patches). just keep in mind that you only need a little lotion.

I would go back to the people who gave it to you and have them take a look- or go to a doc
