Trainers say use the crate..

keep the dog in a crate with water...according to trainer the dog will not pee where the eat or sleep...so you keep him inside the crate, and let him out every 2-3 hours and take him out....doing this for at least 2 months

moving the crate closer to the door every 7-10 days.
until the dog will eventually understand that he will need to go out the door to relieve himself

However...let me tell you..

I have a poodle and a yorkie....

I have tried that......and It didnt work for me

both of my dogs continue to pee inside.....I thinks if you have a stubbord dog....like mine....it will be very hard to do.

I have tried taking my dogs outside every 2-3 hous....and they still pee inside the house.

I have kept them outside for one complete day...and they come inside ....and guess what....they pee.

I have given up....I think in the dog worl there are smart and obidient dogs as well as stubborn and spoiled oned.

I got the stubborn and spoiled one.....but I still love my babies!!

Do you walk him twice a day? Try walking him with other dogs on a regular schedule so he learns the joy of marking trees and fire hydrants. Is it a female, it may be peeing out of nervousness.

potty pads work but i would tape them to the floor cuase puppys have a tendancy of trying to bite them

i wouldnt take them to a class for it because my dog to aggresive by going to obidante classes because she was a puppy we signed her up, and now she hates other dogs and hates men because a man scared her

my dog is scard for life because of those classes

but put up like a little play pen with potty pands covering the whole part of the floor and that should easliy teach your pup

I Don't know if you have tried cleaning your carpets or flooring with vinegar but it helps kill ammonia smell in urine so they don't pee on that spot again. clean first with vinegar and then normally. Hopefully this will help it did with my rott.
