This may sound weird put i leave the TV on all the time for my dog and that helps

The best way is to crate your dog when your gone or leave the dog outside if possible. Other than those options, make sure everything is put away that you don't want destroyed. If your dog is still a puppy, puppies chew. It's a fact of nature. Even humans chew when we're teething. There are products on the market that you spray on items your dog likes to chew on to make them taste horrible but in my experience, they don't work. I've heard using ground black pepper helps but I've never tried it.

designate an area for your dog to roam close all other areas off pick up after yourself , leave plenty of things he is alowed to chew on for him make sure if you have blinds to pull them up so he can see out otherwise they sometimes chew them up also the reason for a dog over 1 year is that miss there master younger dogs are teething

You should look at wyh the dog is chewing . is it only when u leave? if so it is from sep.anxity, you should leave himor her with a farmiler toy and a TV.or Radio on in a place where it will not get in trouble. Clocks help to the tick toc.....

Crate training will stop it. He needs to be confined when he's not supervised. Leave him a Kong with treats in it to keep him busy. Rawhides are ok, if they don't wolf them down, but I wouldn't leave him with one unsupervised.

buy or build a kennel.....don't give into the whining and carrying-on the dog is going to do the first few times you use it.....his safety and your sanity is at stake.....use the kennel.

mabey get a kennel or occupie her w/ a chew toy if you don't like kennels.
