No you are mistaken. Sodom and Gomorrah were not destroyed because of homosexuality, the sins are listed in the Bible and homosexuality is not especially picked out as one of them.
The attempted rape of the angels staying at Lots house happened after the towns were already due for destruction, and was nothing to do with homosexuality anyway, gay men do not go about in groups raping angels, violent sex with angels is not homosexual sex, it is not even same species sex whatever guise the angels were in.
Read your Bible and stop being a misinformed bigot and you may save your own soul even yet.
It is also generally recognized that anal penetration has been used as an act of subjugation by heterosexual males in many cultures for thousands of years. So this incident says nothing in support of the contention that the citizens of Sodom were largely homosexual.

Sodom and Gemorrah were not destroyed because it had gays. The incident of the men of the town wishing to have sex with the guests of Lot was a matter of gang rape. They wanted to gang rape the guys. THAT's the sin. Not homosexuality.
Can you be forgiven for being male? or female? Can you repent of being male and "sin no more"? Of course not. And homosexuality is as much a natural part of the human being who is gay as their gender.

Only there, you are willing to forget it if they repent, genuine repentance or not... Clean out your own house ( closet, etc. ) before you accuse other people of their transgressions...Seems funny the most outspoken people usually have the most to hide...Then, after a much publicized, tear-filled apology, they go right back to what they were doing... I agree with you on the point that homosexuality is a sin. However Paul in scripture that he does the things that he knows are wrong and wants to do the things that are right, but just cannot. We will always battle with this old sinful nature until the full promise of salvation is done (heaven) I would really consider this question above to go towards those who claim to be Christian and are advocating that homosexuality is not a sin. But for those who are living it and batteling with their sinful nature is NO DIFFERENT from my battles. I am batteling with sin, my sinful nature wants to prevail.
