My diagnosis was by a physcial and no pathology was done. Could the Lipoma be pressing on something to cause the swelling?

Lipoma(not sure on that spelling) are fatty tissue growths that they usually leave alone unless they start to impede motion. My mother has several and has had some removed. If it has grown since the Dr. looked at it last, it's a possibility. If you know that you did some lifting or heavy work that pulled your muscle consider that. But if it isn't better in a couple days go see your MD.Some heat packs or ice packs might give you some comfort in the mean time

Have they checked you for DVT? I supposedly had a lipoma - turned out it was a DVT after they did the ultrasound.
