No.
I will be the rebble and say this. No.
Honestly, it was only a big deal because everyone made it a big deal. Sex is a wonderful thing. It is a HUGE part of what we are as human beings! We are sexual creatures deary. Through open, honest communication and proper health (STD, STI, AIDS checks, Condoms, Birth Control) you will have a lot of fun and experience connections greater than what you have ever seen.
Plus, it is fun! You feel really good and happy and everything is great once the kinks are worked out.
Now, it does complicate things if you let it. For instance, you don't have to stay with someone because you slept with them. Have your boundaries and your integrity and stick with it. I stayed with my first lover way too long because I felt that me sleeping with him meant I had to stay with him. That isn't true.
Also, realize that sleeping with someone means something in most cases. Realize that you will have to be sensitive to that. Again, open and honest communication is a must.
I require all of my lovers, along with myself, to show proof of their disease free status. If you are female, get the HPV shot so you reduce your risk of cirvical cancer and go ahead and get put on the pill or recieve some education on sex. Learn about condoms and other methods of birth control. The more knowledge you have, the more precautions you take, the less likely sex will become a bad thing. Go to your family doctor or planned parenthood and they should be able to assist you further.
Just also be aware you have to know the consequences. Pregnancy and disease are it, pregnancy is the biggest unless the disease is AIDS. AIDS tests are important, again make sure you lover is t ested, even if he/she says they are virgins. Pregnancy is a choice. You either keep it or you take the morning after pill (if a mistake is made like a condom breakage) or you have an abortion. You have to be ready to face that. Even if you take all the precautions, stuff does happen.
So yea, if you educate yourself, take proper health precautions, realize the risk....go have fun! Sex is a great thing. There is no shame in not being a virgin. If there was, there would be a lot more of them in the world.

Depends on if you make it a big deal. I was crazy about the guy i lost mine to...And we broke up less than a year later. Do i regret it? No. Sometimes sex is just sweaty animalistic screwing. Sometimes sex is beautiful and wonderful. Losing one's virginity is neither. Usually it's nervous, and you dont know what to do with yourself, where's that appendage supposed to go? It wont be that big of a deal if you just relax. If you want to lose it, go for it. If you're feeling weird, wait. It's all about what you're feeling. Your partner will repsect your feelings, and if not, forget 'em.

Some people get married when they're 18 to lose their virginity in the "proper context" of fundamentalism. Otherwise, losing one's virginity is like any other sexual experience: it'll be great, or it'll suck: there will always be more later to try.

yes !!! in indian culture girls are really valued for their viginity.
virginity is a god given gift and his allowed to be shared only with the wedded couples.
virginity depicts how the girl is pure and though she faces a lot of transformation in the world she still waits for her'one' love to touch her...
so virginity is precious and is god given gift no one can loose it at any cost!!
bye pal tc

Yes it can. It only happens once and you tend to never forget the person you gave it too. That applies for men and women.

If you have doubts then don't do it. I lost mine to my wife. I'm glad every single day that I did. Oh, and I'm 25 and I got married at 22.

love is a serious issue. If you are not going to be with him forever, then I should say so. But today things are so different. It is really a difficult matter.

To some girls, it's meaningless. Others value themselves and wait for their wedding night. It depends if you have morals, standards and character. It depends on if you want to risk diseases and pregnancy.
