They started peeing in the house after I had a baby, I know they are jelous but we walk them every other day and we have a fenced in back yard that they play in. One is an un-netured male and a netured female. Were going to check the padding, the floor under is a stained wood, should we still re seal the floor?

To start with....I would remove the carpet and padding, reseal the hardwood floors and put down throw rugs. That way the rugs can be washed and the floors scrubbed. After all, you really don't want your child crawling around on carpet that your dogs are peeing on. Then I would have the male dog neutered. That will calm him down, which would not be a bad idea with a child around. I think your dogs are jealous, also. They now have new competition, so to speak. They are probably marking their territory. I'm pretty sure the dogs were your babies before the real baby can along. That can't change. Talk to your dogs and play with them as you did before. Do that with the baby and your dogs. Get them use to each other. Just don't leave your baby alone with the dogs until you know for sure that they all get along together. Jealousy is a bad thing all together...even with some dogs. A lot of dogs don't like to go to the bathroom were they play. Put your new baby in a front or back pouch or a stroller and take your dogs and the baby for a walk twice a day. That's great exercise for you, the dogs and your baby will probably love the fresh air. If you are going to reprimand your dogs for peeing on the floor. You can't rub their nose in it! You have to catch them doing it. Tell them they are bad and walk them to the back door and let them out in the yard. Never smack or hit your dogs. If you reprimand them after the fact, they have no idea why or what they did wrong. Yeah...even if you rub their nose in it. Again you have to catch them in the act. Take care of all your babies equally. Nobody wants to be ignored by someone they love and depend on...even our four legged little babies. Wish you all the best. Good Luck.

IMO, i think of it's going to be ok. dogs have an inclination to be nicer (as a fashion to talk) to contributors the choice intercourse, even if, yet while the two are neutered, there should not be too a great number of a venture there. a stable suggestion could be to oversee ALL their interactions at the same time to substantiate there is not any venture. it could additionally help if the rottie has the outdoors as his important territory and the Dobie has the interior as his, yet i could communicate to a coach in the past doing something like that when you consider that i ought to be certain that inflicting issues besides. As for having those 2 breeds at the same time, i do no longer see why no longer. i've got on no account seen something everywhere that asserts they do no longer circulate nicely at the same time, and in all probability, see you later as you're clever and to blame in the form you circulate approximately their care and socialization, there could be no issues.

Why do you have an unneutered dogs? Why do you only walk them every other day? Dogs should be walked at least twice every single day. If you can't do that you are neglecting the animals.

DO NOT RUB THE DOG"S NOSE IN IT OR SPANK THEM. They don't understand what you are doing. If you walk them properly they will get the idea on their own. They prefer to go outside. Never ever hit a dog, they only learn to fear you and it will make the peeing worse because they will become fearful. People who advise you to hit your dog to train it are lazy morons who have no business owning a pet.

nuder the male.
that stopped our dog from peeing after having a baby,
it really calms the males down..
Everytime you find a spot rub his and her nose in it and spank them. not to hard but enough to startle them.
