You have someone to feed & check on them, and they have each other for company. They will be fine, enjoy your family time.

they will be just fine. if you are having someone feed them and give them water, you'll be ok. cats are pretty independent and will do just fine as long as they have food, water, and a clean litterbox. You could give them a few toys to play with while youre gone. Don't worry, cats aren't like dogs, they don't need to be taken out all the time and aren't as dependent. I've left my cats home alone for a few days and I've made sure that they have enough food, water and a clean litterbox for the days i'm gone. Yes i worry but they always end up being just fine.

They will be fine. It's hard to leave them, I understand what you are feeling. But if someone comes in and plays with them for a little each day, they will be okay. Remember, they sleep most of the day anyway, so they have very little time to miss you.
This is always difficult for me, when I leave my cats while I go on vacation. But I know they are happier at home rather than taking them to an unknown environment. I always have one relative come in the morning and another at night. I'm lucky to have people that will help me out.

If your friend is reliable and you can count on him/her to take care of your cats almost as well as you would then they should be fine. Do you know anyone else that could go and check on the kitties in case friend #1 can't for some reason?

If all else fails, is there any way you could take them with you? I'm sure the family would love and enjoy them.

Yes your kitties will be fine. When my cat was about 8 months old we had to go out of town for about 5 days and a friend came over to check up on her everyday. I just went out and bought one of those self dispensing cat food bowels and filled it up to the top and my friend came by and changed her water everyday. My cat was fine and she was all by herself so trust me your two kitties will definitely be fine. They might be a little mad at you when you get back but they will forgive you.

HI your cats should be ok. I had to leave my 2 dogs and 2 cats for 2 days and my sister came and let them out fed and watered them and they did ok also i have an answering machine so i called and let them listen to me talk to them....sounds a little crazy but i think it helped reassure them i was coming home. My house was still in one piece.

They should be fine. When you came back home though they may be a little upset with you, So spend the extra time with them. My parents cats were always upset with them , At least you are leaving them at home, And not taking them to be boarded up at a unfamiler place, that is a good idea

To be quite hinest they probably don't really care if there are no people around as long as they have food and clean water and a clean litter box. Make sure the friend contacts you for a daily report if possible to make sure they are on the ball. You could set up a web-cam to keep an eye on them.

Your cats will be fine while you're gone but they will miss you. Leave a couple of items of clothing laying around, that you haven't washed, so that your smell is on them. Also, leave out their special toys for them to play with. I'd have some water bowls with water in them scattered around the house, just in case something were to happen to your sitter.
