Yes. It is called dating. If the first date sucked, then yes it is appropriate.
It is appropriate to dump someone during the date too!
Welcome to the dating world. At least the other person respected you enough not to lead you on.

i believe that it is alright. I wouldnot like it if it happened to me but think of this. Maybe feelings were relized over night that were not clear before. Or it was just not what one expected,or it feels better as a best friendship. It will hurt alot more later on as time progresses. Honesty is important. If you cant be honest with your self and the other person thenwhat do you have?

It depends on the circumstances. If this person appeared to be one way when you asked them out and then acted a complet a**, then yeah I guess it is OK. But if you are just doing it just for the thrill, then that is wrong.

No but its better than going out on several dates when at the end of the first date you knew that it wasn't going to work. I say the quicker the better.

Sounds kind of immature, like you're not giving them enough time.
But if you don't feel the way you thought you felt about them before, then break up with them, stay friends, instead of misleading them.

that is cruel because u are planting a toxic/bad seed in the persons life.and u need to imagine how u would feel if someone does that to u and how u will take it.
