I am not talking about banana republiques, where every child with a stick and a stone can win. And in the last 100 years, so not against NDE regimes like spain.

No ones ever gonna end faith! only like no ones ever gonna end conflict! yet its no longer faith that motives any conflict! Its non secular individuals who misread their faith of decision! Theres no way there could ever be any wars if the full international substitute into one hundred% non secular! It doesnt remember what faith yet there are actually not any religions that (if used as directed) might reason a conflict! and that i completely accept as true with you once you're saying "there is not any conflict without faith" is only a stupid element to assert! yet an excellent sillier element than it extremely is while human beings say (and im beneficial some fundis will say it right here) wars have been led to by utilising atheism! because of the fact they have no longer only cuz somebody is an atheist doesnt propose that no longer beleiving in god is gonna dictate each and each element that they do! Sorry i be attentive to what I pronounced didnt extremely have plenty to do inclusive of your question! yet I only had to assert it besides =0)

There have been battles that the US has won alone and decisively but for actual wars there have been none that were won. The closest example would be the Pacific War against the Japanese but this was not done along. It may have ended once and for all due to use of nuclear bombs by the US alone.

Disclaimer: Do not simply state my answer as attacking the United States. I am a proud citizen of this country, my answer is merely an analysis based on the question posted above.

As stand alone as the US makes itself out to be, we do often rely on others to fight our wars. Russia played a large part in both World Wars, and because we often took sides in Civil Wars for the "better of the country", such as Korea and Vietnam, we often played with the abused half of the home team. There were two wars that we did fight on our own, however, but neither of them did we have a choice. Those were the Civil War, when we were fighting ourselves, and the Revolutionary War, which due to the fact that Britain was viewed in the right, nobody cared to interfere.

The victory in WWII was the result of the manufacturing ability of the US and the 11 million people that defended the world may not have done as much in some eyes as Russia but never forget the US supplied the world with food and weapons. WWI was saved by the entry of the US as France, Great Britain and Italy were ready to fold when the US put fresh blood into the conflict. The supplies provided by the US kept our allies fed and clothed. The recent movements to back out of conflicts are the direct result of media taking away the will of the people. If current media abilities existed in WWI or WWII everyone would be speaking German. Japan would have been subdued by Germany after the rest of the world gave in.

You place too many limitations to make a sweeping generalization. We won the Civil war, of course somebody had to win it,and both sides were america. We also kicked the crap out of the Indians, buddy, so don't go all pinko on me about how we aint the baddest John Wayne MoFo's ever to saunter out of a saloon..
We won World War I, and only had to toss our hat in during the last 20% of it, and don't go saying that the French, British, And Russians ,Canadians, Australians, NewZealanders, and Raj Indians helped us,,Listen up Pilgrim, they just got in our way.
And we chased Poncho Villa back across the Rio Grande, several times..
And we won World War II virtually single handedly. I don't want to hear about the 100 German divisions that were chewed up and spit out, disappeared, by the Russian Army. We would not have needed, or accepted that help, except that John Wayne was tied up in the South Pacific, and could not be in two places at once.
And further more, we would have won in Korea, and we may win that war yet, it is not over, it is just a long cese fire, and armistice there.
And especially, we could have won in Viet Nam, if only somebody would have given George W. Bush, George I D.G. Rex, a navigational chart and directions on how to get to Hanoi from the middle of Alabama. Of course somebody would have had to teach him how to read too.And how to go potty like a big boy.
When a nation has to measure its greatness by the wars it has won, it is not a very great nation.
If we measured greatness like that, then I guess Macedonia would be the greatest nation of them all.

i'm not aware of america ever going into a war and actually winning it on their own, apart from their independence. they like to claim ww1 and 2 as their victory, but they didn't do it alone, and would not have won it if they had been alone. so good question really. i'm interested to see if anyone comes up with anything.

You run off at the mouth but you obviously haven't taken anytime to learn anything about the history of our US wars. Do so then come back here with your questions.
