Oprah is quite possibly the quintessential candidate for a presidency that would unite America in a way never done before. She is

*Black (african american)
*A woman
*Built a billion dollar company from scratch
*Makes a living helping people
*Is already beaming into virtually everyone's television
*Has first hand experience with foreign diplomacy and philanthropy!!
*Is loved and respected by what must be an overwhelming majority of Americans

President? NO
I say Oprah for Queen!!!!!

PS yes, i would vote for her :-)

No. Oprah does what she does well, and I would not want her to stop doing it. If she wanted to be president, she MIGHT be able to do it, but I think she's happy where she is, and I would be concerned about--not her intelligence, but--her awareness.

Where does she stand on the issues? I think she has an inquisitive mind, which is good for any politician, but I can't see her calling the shots for America.

Besides, she already reaches thousands of women every day, and quite possibly has more effect on our daily lives than the president does.

NO!

Oprah is so self-centered and in love with herself. She thinks she is royalty--NOT!

She doesn't even look at the people when they are talking to her or answering one of her lame questions.

She talks over her guests so all you ever hear is her opinion of "everything." It's tiresome.

Her road trip showed me that she is selfish, inpatient, opinionated, and SELFISH! She would not last a day as a politician much less as President.

She is not Bi-Partisan and she does not care who knows it.

That's a good question...On one hand she is smart, and female and rich.....On the other she has absolutely no credentials to run other than she is smart and rich....Nope I don't think I could vote for her..Although I think we are overdue for more strong females in American govt. Condi Rice doesn't count.....She is Bush's little buddy puppet....

No. While I admire her as a person, I do not believe she is qualified to be president.
