IMO: Unfortunately, not enough. She was no "Mother Teresa" - but she was certainly on the right track.

Unfortunately, she came at a time where her writings were seen as "Communist" - perhaps they were, in some sense - but - what she said was just pure Gospel.

Two great quotes from her:

"As for ourselves, yes, we must be meek, bear injustice, malice, rash judgment. We must turn the other cheek, give up our cloak, go a second mile."

"Certainly we disagree with the Communist Party, as we disagree with other political parties who are trying to maintain the American way of life."

I'd say she was a saint....except she herself said:

"Don't call me a saint. I don't want to be dismissed so easily."
