The Chinese workers built and opened up Canada. They worked on building the rail roads, mining, prospecting.....and anywhere there were people, the Chinese were there too - with their baths, laundry, food, medicine and so on.

The relationship between these two countries is being tested right now by our fearless leader, Harper, who is trying to stir up crap by making demands on the Chinese officials.
It didn't help matters when a few months back Harper accused the Chinese of stealing secrets from Canada and using them for their own. Now, that may or may not be true but to accuse in newspapers and television and not handle it behind closed doors has put the Chinese on the offensive.
Now Harper is demanding that the Chinese address their human rights issues when the two meet and the Chinese leader is refusing to meet with Harper because of this.

Harper has to go! This minority government has had it's time and an election must be called soon before Harper does any more political damage to our country.
