What kind of tickets? Traffic? Concert? Assuming you mean concert tickets - the groups have high expenses to put on the extraveganzas they do today. And yes, there's a tax on tickets in almost all venues, but even without that, wouldn't be cheap.

depends on what kind you are referring to. traffic- cause of high court costs. concert- because of all the people that have to be paid,out of the proceeds.Ball games- because all the sports players are WAY OVER PAID!!
