I'm scheduled to have outpatient surgery on Monday, Nov. 27. I just inherited my husbands head cold, will this cause my surgery to be cancelled?

It depends on what the surgery is for. If you're having a wart removed or something simplestic...then no. If you're going in for any type of surgery that they are going to sedate you....then I think they will postpone it. You should have already had your presurgery checklist given to you...was it on the list?

I'm having surgery again, I've been in surgery seven times in three years and I'm worried about my wife's stupid head cold that seems to linger. I know if I have a temp. they won't go.
