You don't.
It will come naturally.
Don't be an idot and think you have to teach him anymore than what he will instictively know.
Liability is what you will make of him.

Training your dog to be a guard dog will out a dogs' natural aggression, and possessiveness.

Your dog should have basic trainin already. Like come, sit, stay, before you do any type of advanced training

say only one or two words for each command

training should have started younger but hopefully the basic commands have already been taught to your dog
Do not be mean or harsh or violent with your dog but you nee to be firm and consistent with the training.

Repeat your commands and actions.

Actions like barking at strangers or people who knock on your door should be praised

When you see people in your yard or space again have the dog bark and reinforce this with praise

remember that your dog is still a part of your family and you do not want the dog to harm your family members

take the dog for a ride in your car and everytime someone gets close tell him to watch um when he does growl say goooood watch um .you get all worked up like your distrusting the person and the dog well pick up on your feelings .keep the dog away from everyone except the people that live in your home the more people you have him meet the less he well protect you
