wel the photo synthesis process is related only to earth as this phenomenon is unique to earth.
in general the sun affects the path of revovution of the planet by the gravitational forces between them as it is a source for radial acceleratn. the sun keeps the planets in thir path while revolving round teh sun. also the entire solar system is moving in the mialky way galaxy.

It's called photosynthesis. We all learned this in science class. About 4th or 5th grade. The energy feeds the plant. Withoout it a plant would not be green.

plants require energy from the sun to make food but tooo much may wilt or even kill the plant.
