How do I convert WMV to JPG file for editing?

WMV is a video file and JPG is a photo. You can not transfer the whole movie to a JPG format. You will need a movie program then you can take individual frames and save them as JPGs.

To convert .wmv files to .jpg use Windows Movie Maker and while image is being previewed click the TAKE PICTURE button in lower right hand corner of panel. Works with both Video Stills and Video Movies...
