Oral surgery for your wisdom teeth? I had that about one year ago and yes it is common to bruise. As for the headaches Im not sure if that is right or not. I would check with you doctor tomorrow just to be sure. Hope you feel better:-)

Oral surgery? Hmmmmmm I wonder what kind of medicine they gave you.

When I had surgery done to my mouth, they gave me Amoxacillin ( Sp?) its basically like penicillin ( same stuff you got as a shot when you were younger to fight off infections) Only Amoxacillin is stronger, He gave it to me since the mouth has a lot of bacteria in it. He also said to take Advil or Extra strength tylenol for the pain. But the soreness should last only a few days, 5 at most. If you still feel pain.. go back to the doc and let him know everything that you are feeling.

The bruising is normal. When my teacher had oral surgery her bruising made it look like she had a beard. As for me, I've never experienced bruising when I got my wisdom teeth taken out and they used toolittle medication and I woke up during the surgery.

Please help you??? Go back to your mother and tell HER that you're still have problems and that you're concerned. This is NOT WebMD! You're going to get a myriad of answers, most of which will be wrong. You might need to go back to your dentist.
