God didnt make cigarettes, man did

How silly. The list of things that mankind has invented that are potentially and actually harmful could go on for days. If God indeed did create man, and he didn't want this creation to have free will and thought (to thereby invent all things), then it seems to me that he would have made man in the image of Forrest Gump. I am troubled by people who pass the buck to an Almighty Being instead of taking personal responsibility and accountability for their own failings. Just because you (general) think you're going to be forgiven doesn't mean it's ok to live an irresponsible life.

Unless you find cigarettes growing out in nature, God did not make them. God made man and gave him a mind. If man chooses to use that mind to find something like cigarettes, God can choose to just let things happen.

I think...

If God made the world...then everything in it, originally had a good use. I was surprised to learn that a fly's maggots, have even demonstrated an important place in the chain of life. Perhaps the tobacco plant has other uses, as well.

If you smash a big rock on someones head, that could make them die. Are rocks bad? Should a christian (if said christian is allowed to walk around by own self) put blinkers on so eye won't be able to see evil rock? Please tell what to do - can't think for own self - not allowed?

God doesn't make cigarettes...people do.
As far as why God let's bad things happen in general??...usually the excuse is that you need to have BAD to understand how it's different from GOOD.
Yeah..I know...sounds like having it BOTH ways to me too!

The tobacco plant is a herb to cure sick cattle to be used with judgment and skill not for putting into the mouth alight and inhaling

God wants people to die ,he is always talking about them coming to his heaven ,or refusing them to go there .
God is pretty pre-ocupied with people dying ,and what about all the wars he has started.

God and death almost mean the same thing

Cigarettes were created by human beings who have their own will. There is evil and good in this world to test the believers----the ones who have faith will never follow evil!
