at the VERY least once a day.

Any dental health practitioner will tell you to brush your teeth at the very least three times a day, after each regular meal, and if you snack between meals on sugary foods you should brush as well.
Once a week when you are young probably sounds ok but if you keep that up you will lose several teeth before you turn thirty, not to mention gingivitis, halitosis, cavities, and the need for root canal treatment, for starters.
Have you never visited a dentist? do you floss or use any other dental health aid at all? If not then you should seriously consider spending a little more time checking dental health on internet instead of posting questions like these.

Good Luck to you and your teeth, you are going to need it.

No that's not sufficient. You should brush at least twice a day (after meals is best) to keep your teeth clean & for good oral health. Dentists recommend that you brush for at least 2 minutes each time. Once a week won't be enough to remove all the tarter that has built up then that will lead to plaque & all kinds of other problems.

Well, although I think 4 times a day is a little much, once a week isn't enough either. I think it really depends on what you eat. If you're healthy, I think once a day should do it, but if you eat junk/fast food all the time, you need to brush your teeth more than that. Whatever you do, once a week isn't enough.

If you plan on being toothless in a few years then it is sufficient. If you want to keep your teeth, then I would suggest doing it at least once a day but twice would be better.

Well this is a debatable question

1. Fluoride is a known human being suppressant.
2. There are many articles on the true dangers of Fluoride.
3. Could plaque actually be a protective coating for our teeth given that the skulls of neadanderthal man have perfect teeth!

Clean them with salt or bicarbonate of soda

You shoud brush your teeth at least 2 times a day, one in the morning and then in the night before sleep. else you are going to have great problem in few years and then again you have to follow the same procedure so it's better to start now.

No it is not sufficient. Not only would you have bad breath, you have plaque build up. Twice and three times is ideal. And brush the tongue as that is where a lot of the bad breath originates.

I hope you are kidding. If not start brushing at least twice a day, use a mouth rinse like Peroxyol, and see the dentist for a good cleaning. If your mouth is not in good shape, it can affect the rest of your health, not to mention no one will want to kiss you.

Yes that is sufficient, or if that's to much work try once a month. Good luck.

once a week... gross,,,,

how about in the morning when you first get up., then after each meal,, and then again before bed...

so.. at least five times a day...
and if you only brush once a week.. you need to see a dentist.. to have your teeth checked, for gum diseases,, and cavities...

and then every six months.. to maintain good oral health....
