metal coffee can with a lid. strain the grease after use. If you fry french fries right behind the fish the starch in it helps clean the grease (taste). don't keep it to long. It will turn rancid.

Do you mean if you've just deep-fried fish in a fryer? I let it stay in the fryer until next use. When it starts turning out other fried foods that taste like fish or there's too much fish batter in it, then I change the oil.

I don't fish grease is going to smell like fish and is unsuitable for cooking anything else except more fish.

If you do want to keep it then you have to strain it and get the impurities out of it and refrigerate it.

Well you first must strain it to get out bits of fish and flour. I would then put cooled grease in plastic container covered and in the freezer.

I use old coffee cans after they are emptied but any kind of metal can with a lid will work. You can keep it in the pantry or on the cabinet, no need keep it cold.

Why would you do that? It is bad enough as it is but it will probably go rancid. Use veg. or olive oil.
