I suggest you just go straight to the doctor. The blood test is more sensitive than the urine test. You could take a home pregnancy test now, it wouldn't hurt. Do you want to pregnant? If you want it bad enough, your body can fool you. Are you under a lot of stress? This can also affect your period. Just take the whole story to your doctor. Probably the best way to ease your mind. Best wishes. Take care.

well theres no harm in doing a test just to be sure. The best thing is to go to the doctor. The question is during or around the time of your period did you enagage in any sexual intercourse... if so there may be a slight chanc eof pregnancy ( dont want to worry you.) However periods can be delayed due to stress (physical and mental ). However the darkening of the nipple area can simply be the effect of excess oestrogen and not a sign of preparation for a preganancy. Its not a bad idea to do the test any way .. i know it can be scary sometimes.. but you will have to find out one way or another. take care .
