Upset? Not this atheist! I don't believe there is a heaven, and anyway there are so many different ideas by the people who do believe in it about what it is like, that it just seems silly to worry about it. I'm living in the here and now and happy that way.

The whole thing is silly if there is a heave as described it the Holy Bible neither hypocrite or Atheists XXX will go silly so how can one have a better chance than the other. That is unless one has already been saved and in that case of course nothing could keep them out of heaven. Now I was baptized when I was six so I'm safe which ever way it goes. Now that I'm an Atheist if it turns out that I'm wrong I'm saved already so what the hell see you in heaven that is unless you a hypocrite. Kisses Betty

The problem with heaven is that it doesn't seem like that great of a place, at least the way Christianity defines it. Who would want to live in a place of absolute perfection, with no worries or troubles? It sounds nice on the surface, but I think we'd grow bored fast. We enjoy the ups and downs of life.

maybe atheist think they are going to porogatory. Maybe they don't understand the concept of "god" as we call it, and "heaven'. maybe that is why they are angry as you say.
