calm down, mary sue
you dont want to be gaining weight, you want to build muscle (100 is PERFECT for someone 5"2)
go to your doctors and ask him to recommend supplements to take while using toning excercises, and your muscles will grow

Because those are the genes you inherited from your parents.

First of all, you're still young and you are still growing. Therefore, all you can do is wait and make the bet of what you can do now.

Second of all, I'm assuming you are very active which means you have a high metabolism. This makes it difficult to gain weight since you are constantly burning it off. But don't fret about it. While most people who complain about being overweight or obese would kill to be able to eat and not gain, you have that luxury.

Part of life means learning our limitations. Currently, you are limited in playing football. This doesn't mean you shouldn't play, but it means you have to accept your abilities of what you can do compared to the bigger or better players.

There are many other sports which you can participate in with your size. But if football is one you want to play, then look for ways to improve based on your size. Talk to your coach and ask if there is anything you can do to enhance your skill level. He may view the eagerness and help you out.

Keep in mind, you may have a huge growth spurt and pass many of these players, as well as your friends, as you become older. If by chance you do not, then accept your height for what it is and make the best with what you can do. You will be surprised at what a determined person is capable of doing.

Remember Spud Webb? Perhaps not, but he is 5' 6" and was the dunking champion of the NBA in the early 90s. Rudy Ruettiger who was determined to lay for Notre Dame Football never gave up and played in the last game of his senior year and sacked the quarterback. Bottom line..nothing is impossible to a willing and determined mind.

OKKK, Ummmm...you are like filling up Yahoo Answers w/ these same questions that have already been resolved according to you, you know?
Have you not noticed that you've already asked this question like 5 times?
Ashley, you are right, you have to be at least 115 in Girl's football to join, I was a cheerleader for 3 years in school, I should know these things better than ne1. And I don't think I've ever heard of a Girl in a Boys football team. Sounds a little suspicious to me!

I would change sports, your gentics may be playing a huge roll in this, are your parents big or really petit, there may be nothing you can do about it other than maybe taking male testosterone and this will give you facial hair and a deep voice, I think you should find anouther sport like maybe tenis, somthing that your size and speed will benifit you, that way you wont have one moret thing to worry about, cuase who needs things to worry about, also defense, why are you choosing defense, I dont play football but it sounds like maybe if you could be usfull you need to find a postion that a small person would be more usfull, Well I hope that no matter what you can become happy with yourself, and that everything works out,

Well maybe football isn't the right sport for you...ya ya I'm sure you are used to hearing "your a girl you cant play football" but I'm sorry to say that this can be true. Girls are not built like guys and for a small girl to be playing with a lot of bigger guys in a full contact sport can be very dangerous. There are other sports that you could try out...what about women's lacrosse....our women's rugby those are pretty tough sports.
