Theres a myth that when you hear a owl SCREECH or " hoot " then some one is going to die. But don't worry, it's just a myth!

it was calling for it's mate, it means nothing mystical or remotely scary. in fact i quite enjoy hearing owls hooting at night. i could sit and listen to them for ages.
