So you have a sense that maybe she doesn't like you or are you just feeling insecure about yourself? Ask her to have a cup of coffee with you, that's non-threatening enough. If she accepts then you can get you know her a little better and then ask her on a more formal "date". Good luck!

How do you know she will say no? If you have a valid reason for knowing then don't ask. Just find someone who is interested in you. But if you just think she might say no then go ahead and ask. She might surprise you and say yes or if she says no then you haven't lost anything. Rejection is a part of life and you should be okay dealing with it.

why do you think that she will turn you down?
you never know until you try.
i would ask her, and if she says no, then tell her maybe you could go just as friends and if she liked being with you then, maybe later you could date for real....
Dont be afraid of the unknown. Just expect it. I know that doesnt make any sense, but it works for me.
Like i said, just ask her on a date and if she says no, then suggest going on a date---just as friends---and if she accepts the second offer, and tell her that if she liked what who you are while you are on the friend-date then tell her maybe you could ask her on a real date.
just dont be scared. dont be stuck up, but be confident.
