Type in PEKINGESE RESCUE into you search engine. There are several listed. Even if you find one out of state, contact them and they mau be able to put you in touch with a more local rescue. There is an adoption and approval process, and a fee. I think the fee is $150-200 I have a Peke and just love him, I was looking into adopting another one a few months ago. A lot of the dogs are older and have some health issues. They will all be spayed or nuetared. If you have never owned a peke before please research the breed. They can be Obstinant, possesive, territorial, are not good around small children and can be hard to house break. They take a firm and loving house. My boy likes everyone in the house, but I am "Alpha" and he and my husband disagree about who is second in command sometimes. :) lol
Theres is a great deal of History that goes along with the Peke, if you dont know about it already please look it up. you will find some cool stuff!
U can contact me at mhix@yahoo.com if you want any info about the breed or just to chat about them.
Good luck and Blessings

$200 might pay an adoption fee but won't be anywhere near the cost of a well bred puppy - & if a puppy isn't well bred you shouldn't be supporting poor breeding practices.
The puppy Hollywood linked to may have cost her $200 but it isn't a pekingese - it looks like a mix to me.
For now start by putting aside all the money you'll be spending on this dog's upkeep into a pot or jar. In a few months you should have enough in the pot to buy a nice puppy.

That doesn't seem like much for a pure-bred dog. Try looking at rescue organizations for the breed, you might find an older dog who could really use a home with you. That might, maybe, cost you $200 or less. Just remember, your dog will need vet care, food, a kennel or bed, and other supplies. It is a financial burden to own a dog.

oh heck where I used to work dogs were adopted out for $120..
call around to your local SPCA and other shelters (a vet or dog club will know who to call)
leave your name on a waiting list for such a dog.. also look on bulliten boards in vet clinics...
vets often become aware of people needing to rehome dogs for one reason or another..
contact the PEKINGESE RESCUE group in your area...
I cant post links since you didnt even say what country you are in
Austria? Argentina? Australia?
