If you can't train him to respond to the "No" command you can buy at any pet store a training collar. It send a small electrical charge.I know it sounds inhumane, but you do not need to put it on 10,I tried it on myself on like 3 which works on the dog, anyways it was hardly noticeable but effective on my dog. After one week he obeyed. The trick is when you shock him ,also say "NO" he'll pay attention.

My friends dog did this: all of a sudden just started destroying the garden, in the end they worked out that the dog was actually chasing mice! Funny as it may seems, maybe that's what your dog is doing, and if it's not mice, maybe just other garden bugs. Good luck!

He's eating the flowers? He got sick from the flowers? Check to see if these flowers are poisonous to dogs. He won't leave the flowers alone? Spray him with water when he goes over there. Stand infront of the flowerbed like you own it...until he stops. you need to do this again and again. If you find that these flowers are poisonus rip them out.

he may be doing it as he gets your attention that way. i would try and play with him when your outside with a ball or a tug rope something like that so he knows he can have fun and your attention in better ways. it may b worth a try that when he starts to eat the flowers you say NO then take him inside this way he knows its wrong and if he does it theres no more outside play time. good luck

my black lab was doing this and it was because she smelled something in the soil. Whether is was bugs or rodents we stopped it by putting her fecal droppings in the spots that she was digging. We did this in every spot she started to dig. It also depends on how long she is out side. Boredom might come into play as well as age.

He is bored. Take him for a walk..he knows that's how he'll get attention, and he's trying to get it from you by acting out in a way you will respond to. If you take him for a walk, tire him from the walk, and make that a routine, it will make you both happier.

its bored, and this is amusing to him. my dog used to go up on our deck and bite the tops off of all the zinneas we had growing around it. we ended up with just a bunch of sticks growing around the deck. but she only did it to the zinneas.
