someone hit my wing mirror when my car was parked and drove of! grrr!
i am a single parent and cannot afford to have it replaced, is there any way i can fix it myself??
any suggestions greatly apprecaieted

Phone up a few car breakers - you need to tell them if your mirror was; manual or electronic adjusted, Nearside or Offside and if it had coloured trim on the back. It shouldn't cost any more than £30. If it is one from out of you area you can get it posted to you.

Not too difficult to fit - but watch out when pulling off plastic parts in cold weather - they snap easier (warm them with Hair dryer first!) Good luck.

Go to the school and find a student that is working with cars ect... ask him if he would like to make a little extra cash then show him the car problem and see if he will help you ( girls work on cars as well)

If you go to one of those scrap car dealers you might get one from a wrecked clio, and save yourself a lot of money

you can just get the mirror fixed instead of the whole lot!
