if u really want to get to know someone spend time with her, talk a lot about anything that comes to mind, get to know her opinion on things, likes, dislikes etc....u can think of more

Why do you NEED to 'sooth the lady's heart'?
Stop trying to look on this as an 'exercise' of the mind.
Write down what you want to tell her about yourself, and then EDIT it - HEAVILY.
Tell her about what is important to you, what you like and do not like ~ what irks you - what delights you - what grates on your nerves - what inspires you - what you value - and so on.
Do not make this an exercise of the intellect.
