Why don't you just put your arms around him and hug him. Most people like to be hugged and whats the worst thing that could happen if you did just hug him? I don't think he would laugh or push you away, he probably would hug you back and maybe even kiss you. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain if you feel this way towards this boy. Just do it!

I agree with the first guy,but a hug is not that serious,its plain unless there's a real feeling to it.As if u like that person,then the hug leads on to alot more....what do u want the hug to feel like....how much does it mean to you to hug him....if it's a friendly hug just go for it,but how good can a hug get?Think about it.

How old are you and this boy? You don't tell him you want to hug him! Next time you meet him while walking along, just go up to him and hug him. Make it seem like a normal greeting. Don't make it too long! Just a friendly greeting.

Just lean in to hug him, no offence but hugging isn't a big deal - don't stress about it, coz the more focus you put on it, the more awkward its gonna be when it actually happens.
Once he sees you're leaning in to hug him, he'll automatically go for the lean and hug you back - its a natural reflex.
