I don't want to keep having to say this: If you are coming onto the Internet and asking for a tattoo idea then there is no way you should be getting ANY! You should wait until you see something that means something to you, not get one because a celebrity has one. It's a stupid, immature decision and you will probably regret it a few years down the line! Take my advice and wait!
I've got 2 stars tattooed on the very base of my spine (on the far left) and they're hidden nearly all the time. I got those for spiritual reasons. On the 13th February 2007, I'm getting a constant reminder tattooed onto me for £50. Booked that today actually and can't wait until then.

do the upper arms first, a tattoo should reflect a persons life in my opinion, I have 4 larger pieces that all represent events in my life, there's a cross with vines & roses with the bleeding heart with an inscription under it this represents the year I spent studying the bible, so you get the idea, I am trying to come up with something new to celebrate living past 50 because I never thought I would, good luck.

you cannot get another person to pick your tattoo it has to be what you want all my tattoo's have come from gut instinct when i see the one i like i have never had an idea of what i have wanted until i have seen them in the books but my next one is going to be on my wrist of leg

if i could get every tattoo i want... wow, i'd be covered. but i have to be realistic and now that my husband does not want a fully tattooed wife. i have a koi with a sea turtle on my back. and a skull on my foot. i'm about to get another tattoo on my other foot. i'd like to get some zodiac stuff on my ribs, but we'll see. good luck with thinking of something to get!

like as if iknow where is best for you, men have tattoos all over the place, go for something unique, next time your by a parlour, pop in and take a look at the range...
maybe your into music, rugby , footy... go with a theme if you have to...
remember its your body.

i knew i always wanted a shamrock tattoo because being irish makes me proud, so i got it done close to my heart.
dont pick up someones else's idea
if you really want a tattoo the idea will come to you eventually
then you know you wont get sick of it

get something that reflexs on your personalty and strenght most people get memorial tattoo, some get koi fish tattoo wih represent success and etc....... see a tattoo artish he/she will draw up a design that reperesent you and remember this is a custom piece a one of a kind.

When you are an old man, do you honestley want tattoos on you?
If you reallllllllllly want one, then i suggest the lower back.
But dont get one unless you are prepared to keep it there for the rest of your life!!

for me, tattoos should be personal, something with meaning to you. it's your body.
you're here asking a bunch of people who don't know you what you should put on your body that will last a life time.
it has to be something from your heart
