because i understand that a christian has to have faith in the lord and in what they do, they have to pray and read the bible teach others about the word of GOD and understand about the word of the most high GOD. THANK YOU.

Being a Christian does mean you are perfect. It means we are trusting Him for out eternal destiny.. That is all.. Now God does work in our lives and gives us a hunger for His Word, and a desire to talk to Him. And He tells us to Go and teach others. But to be a christian is to hold faith in Him... Jim

I would say a Christian is a person who has accepted Jesus' sacrifice to pay the debt for their sin, because after one does that they are in God's family. These people are spiritually born, or 'born again' as many call it.
If you follow the teachings of Christ but are not in his family via accepting Jesus' sacrifice for your sin debt, you are what I call Christendom but not yet a Christian

I see the things you have listed as being superficial.
A true christian Follows the teachings and example of Jesus.
This person does not even need to have ever heard the Name of Jesus, or seen the bible. Gandhi and the Buddha are both excellent examples Of true Christians.
People who call them selves Christians but do not follow the example of Jesus are just pretenders.

talks about how the Earth is part of God's Creation, just as the spirit in ALL of is. This is Truth.
