As one who has purpose in everything I can think on no other explaination for the never ending universes than to house an everexpanding population of people that never die and continue to procreate. Isn't that eternity, at least in part?

After armegeddon, we see satan & the wicked dead & hell is cast into a lake of fire, this earth has been redemmed back to God the father & Jesus will come off his throne & hand all power back to God & Jesus becomes our elder Brother, & God will sit on his throne in the eternal age worlds without end. That has nothing to do with another planet, It is true that the lake of fire is nOT on this earth remember I said all traces of sin is removed from this earth. That is why the wicked is risen & hell is also cast into the lake of fire. This earth then will be Perfect. Now the lake of fire, I said it is not on or in this earth, if it was, then this earth is not redeemed back to God. Science has found a bright light far away from earth & they say it is many times bigger that our sun & that their findings, they think the heat is so hot that it could very well be over 1 BILLION degrees, & they estimate that our sun is only 11,000 degrees. As far as another planet where mankind will live on, NO.

Don H you need to get a grip on reality. Satan is an angle that opposes God, God's enemy, Satan slandered God and called God a liar, and challenged God's right to rule his creation saying God was not ruling his creations with their best interest in mind. After Armegeddon there will be righteous people who survive, they will be ones along with resurrected ones that will make up the new earth spoken of in 2 Peter 3:13, the earth was made to stand to times indefinite, it will never be made to totter and made will reside on the earth forever Psalms 37:11,29

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.
